Itinerary and highlights

Follow an expert local guide through the historical center of Rome and learn the secrets of the Eternal City. You will listen to legends, anecdotes and insights about various ancient monuments.

The Trevi Fountain is the most famous Roman fountain and it's the terminal part of the Aqueduct of the Virgin. This monument dates back to the 18th century and was designed by architect Nicola Salvi. The stunning facade presents a structure similar to that of a triumphal arch and features plenty of intricate symbols.

The "Aqua Virgo" (Aqueduct of the Virgin) is the only ancient aqueduct still in use in Rome. The name refers to a young girl who helped a group of soldiers find some water, but it can also be considered a reference to the purity and quality of the water itself.
