About this experience
Perfectly placed at the foothills of Monti Tiburtini, and skirted by the tranquil Aniene River, it's not very difficult to see why Tivoli was a favorite holiday destination of Ancient Rome's elite. Hop on a train with your host and get whisked away to this whimsical town, where you'll begin your day exploring Villa d'Este and its sprawling grounds. Settle your senses with a tasty lunch at a local trattoria and stroll through the charming town to the bus stop, where your adventure continues to Villa Adriana.
Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host. Your host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place.
