Singapore has little enclaves where each of its diverse races hold territory of, and near the City Hall/Bugis area is where you’ll find the Hainanese – best known for their culinary skills and being the creators of the Singapore Chicken Rice and Singapore Sling!

to live in their shophouses. Listen to stories of
yesteryear and walk through the actual streets
where their descentdents still ply their crafts.
Explore the grounds of the famed Raffles Hotel
with it’s rich history and hear how an actual
tiger once roamed its halls. Learn about the
history of the Singapore Sling and the
hainanese man who crafted it.
We'll continue our journey in the area. We'll take a short walk nearby from the hotel to a local restaurant, to enjoy some authentic Hainanese Chicken Rice
