About this experience

This is a real-world murder mystery escape game that's played outdoors, on the streets of Sydney. You and your team will take on the roles of detectives leading an investigation. Guided by the Questo app on your phone, you'll visit 12 unique locations and examine the world around you: from statues, to murals, plaques, old inscriptions, or even facades of beautiful architectural masterpiece buildings, to see if you can find any clues and evidence. You'll be hit with puzzles, ciphers, cryptic letters and other challenges that you'll need to solve to gather information about the culprit and save the next victim.

Love, obsession and murder collide in this interactive self-guided outdoor escape game that turns Sydney's The Rocks area into your crime scene. A famous travel blogger has been found dead during a ghost tour and you must take on the role of the city's best detective and follow clues, interrogate story characters in-app, and piece together evidence as the city becomes your board.

You’ll explore 12 locations around the city, search for clues and uncover historical facts about famous landmarks such as Susannah Place, Campbells Cove, Foundation Park, The Rocks Discovery Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, solving clever puzzles and unlocking twists. Start when you like, take breaks for coffee, and play entirely at your own pace, it’s private to your group.

Meeting and pickup information

• The game starts at Campbell's Cove. After booking, we'll message you a code and activation link. Activate with your own email, then log in to the Questo app with that email. No message? Open the Questo app, tap "Bought a quest somewhere else?" and enter your booking reference number.
