An immersive experience designed to showcase the Eternal City from an insider's perspective, crafted after over 12 years of living in Rome.
The journey leads through cherished neighborhood streets, stopping for exceptional coffee, artisan gelato, or classic Roman bites. Professional photo opportunities capture the moment, accompanied by stories about everyday life in the capital. The focus centers on authentic spots, practical local knowledge, and tailored recommendations for the remainder of the trip.
This experience avoids rushed monument hopping or rigid scripts. Instead, a relaxed, small-group walk provides ample room for conversation, inquiries, and spontaneous stops.

Itinerary and highlights
We’ll start in the heart of Rome, with the Pantheon as our backdrop. Take in one of the city’s most iconic sights while I introduce you to the Rome we’ll discover together, through local flavors, beautiful streets, everyday rituals and a few of my favorite hidden gems.
Please note that we do not enter the Pantheon as part of this experience.
We'll wander along one of Rome's most beautiful historic streets, stopping along the way for one of my favorite local treats. The exact food stops are part of the experience, carefully selected places I'd genuinely recommend to friends visiting Rome.
We’ll walk across the beautiful Ponte Sant’Angelo, with Castel Sant’Angelo as our backdrop. It’s one of my favorite views in Rome and the perfect spot to slow down, enjoy the river and take some great photos before continuing our walk through the city.
Please note that we do not enter the castle as part of this experience.
We'll leave the busiest tourist routes behind and explore one of Rome's most elegant streets before heading into a neighborhood known for great local food. Along the way, we'll stop to taste a classic Roman favorite.
We’ll cross the Tiber via Rome’s tiny island, pausing for views of the river and a few photos along the way. It’s a beautiful little transition between the historic center and Trastevere, where we’ll finish our walk.
Meeting and pickup information
- Meet me by the Fontana del Pantheon (the fountain in the center of Piazza della Rotonda), directly in front of the Pantheon. I’ll be waiting on the fountain side facing the Pantheon.
