Itinerary and highlights
Walk through the narrow street of Trastevere while our guide explains to you the story of this ancient and famous area and the origin of the two dishes you will taste here: Pizza Bianca with mortadella and Trapezzino.
Take a break crossing the bridge where you will have an amazing view of the Tiber and the Tiberina Island. Take a memorable picture and relax crossing "The Blond Tiber".
Our tour will continue between narrow streets and small local shops, an enjoyable walk to get to Piazza Farnesina, listed as one of the 7 wonders of Rome.
This wondrous excursion continues from Piazza Farnese to Campo de Fiori, the only square in Rome without any church. Do you know why? Join us to know! Experience a typical Roman fresh market in Campo de Fiori and taste the original dishes you cannot find anywhere else.
After Campo de Fiori the show must go on, so we continue our tour via del Pellegrino, listen to our guide explain where the history of this street originates from, and get ready to eat the popular trio: Spaghetti Amatriciana, Spaghetti Carboanare, and Spaghetti Cacoi e pepe. A mix of Roman typical fresh pasta, but guess which one has American origin!
You are probably full by now, but there is always room for dessert. You cannot miss out on perfect ice cream and coffee. Enjoy this while you are walking in Roman downtown.
