Step back nearly 2,000 years on a guided tour of Rome’s historic landmarks: the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill.
Your licensed guide will lead you through the Colosseum, explaining its architecture, gladiatorial games, and the history of ancient Rome. Audio headsets are provided to ensure clear commentary throughout the visit.
After the Colosseum, continue to the Roman Forum, the center of ancient Roman political, religious, and social life. Explore the ruins of temples, basilicas, and public spaces at your own pace while your guide shares historical context.
The tour concludes at Palatine Hill, one of Rome’s oldest areas, where you can view the remains of imperial palaces and the surrounding Forum and Circus Maximus. All visits are conducted according to official entry schedules and regulations.

Itinerary and highlights
In ancient Roman architecture, Titus and Domitian built the Colosseum in 80 AD (construction was started in 70 AD). This place was used for different events that may, including gladiator competitions, animal expeditions, and the recreation of historical battles.
Meeting and pickup information
- Your guide will meet you in front of Caffè Roma at Via del Colosseo 31. If arriving by metro, head to the upper level of Colosseo station. By taxi, it's just 100 meters away. Look for your guide holding a sign matching your voucher for a smooth start to your tour.
