Bungoona lookout is a scenic spot within the Royal National Park that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. It provides a perfect vantage point to appreciate the park's rugged coastline, lush forests, and stunning beaches. After enjoying the lookout, you can choose to visit one of the park's beautiful beaches, such as Garie Beach or Wattamolla Beach. These beaches are known for their pristine sands, clear waters, and often offer excellent swimming and surfing opportunities.
The Imperial, the Scarborough Hotel, and The Headlands Hotel are popular dining establishments located along the coastline of the Royal National Park. These venues not only offer delicious food but also provide stunning panoramic views of the coast. You can savor your lunch while enjoying the scenic beauty of the ocean, feeling the refreshing sea breeze, and immersing yourself in a relaxed coastal atmosphere.
Sandon Point and Thirroul Beach are two picturesque locations near the Royal National Park that are worth visiting. Sandon Point is known for its sweeping views of the coastline, rock pools, and grassy picnic areas. Thirroul Beach, on the other hand, offers a beautiful sandy beach and a charming coastal village atmosphere.
Alternatively, you can opt to visit Symbio Wildlife Park, which is located nearby. This wildlife park provides an opportunity to see and interact with a variety of Australian animals, including kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, and native birds. It's a great way to get up close to these iconic Australian creatures and learn more about their habitats and conservation.
Next, drive along the world-famous Grand Pacific Drive, including the iconic Sea Cliff Bridge for breathtaking ocean views.
After a day of exploring the Royal National Park and its stunning attractions, your driver-guide will accompany you on the return journey to Sydney.
