Itinerary and highlights

We will visit the most significant hill in the city, which served as the political center of Ancient Rome. Here, we will see the renowned Piazza del Campidoglio, with the equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius and the symbol of Rome, the famous bronze statue of the she-wolf.

Located at the foot of Capitoline Hill it is the oldest temple in the Roman Forum and the second oldest known temple in Rome.

Constructed in 13 BC, Teatro Marcello was the largest open-air theatre in ancient Rome. The architecture and design of the theatre were replicated numerous times during the Roman Empire, and it influenced many significant buildings, including the symbol of Rome, the Colosseum, which was built many years later in 72 AD.

The Forum Boarium was one of the oldest and most important marketplaces in ancient Rome. According to legend, Hercules reached this area with Geryon’s oxen, only to have them stolen by the giant Cacus, who lived in a cave at the foot of the Aventine Hill. This area features significant ancient monuments, including the Temple of Fortuna Virilis and the Temple of Hercules Victor.

At the end of the tour you will visit the mysterious Tiberian island, covered with legend and secrets. You will discover the story about the ancient Temple of Aesculapius dedicated to Asclepius, who was the Greek god of healing and medicine.
