Then, step inside and take a moment to look up. The towering columns branch out like trees, creating a feeling of standing in a peaceful forest. After exploring the interior, head outside to the Passion Facade, a huge contrast to the one you saw earlier. Its stark lines and dramatic sculptures tell the story of Christ’s final days. You’ll feel the expression of pain and redemption on this facade.
If you selected the Passion Tower option, continue to one of the basilica’s most impressive viewpoints. Take the elevator up the Passion Tower and enjoy views over Barcelona’s city centre. The tower visit is not guided, and the descent is made on foot via the tower staircase.
