About this experience
Beyond mastering Spain's most iconic tapas and our world-famous seafood paella, what truly sets us apart is the heartbeat behind the experience.
We are a young, passionate team of born-and-raised locals from Barcelona. For us, this isn't just a commercial cooking class; it’s an invitation into our culture. In Catalonia, the best moments in life happen when we gather around a table with family and friends to share food, laughter, and wine. That is exactly the authentic lifestyle and warmth we want to share with you.
We place a huge emphasis on the social side of the experience. Our exclusive venue is designed to break the ice, encourage connection, and bring travelers from all over the world together to share stories, make memories, and enjoy incredible food as a community. You arrive as a guest, but you leave as part of the Kampada family!

Itinerary and highlights
There's no better way to understand Barcelona than through its food culture. This is not your typical cooking class. This is a recreation of a real Catalan paella celebration.
Join a 2-hour culinary experience led by a passionate local Catalan chef and the Kampada team: a young, Barcelona-born company built around the belief that the best moments happen around a table. This isn't a typical cooking class where you're chopping vegetables for two hours. It's a social, guided experience where you'll learn the secrets behind authentic Spanish paella and traditional tapas, get your hands in where it counts, and sit down together to enjoy everything you've made.
Here's the twist: the kitchen splits into two teams – Team Seafood and Team Chicken – each crafting their own authentic Catalan paella side by side. While your paella simmers, snack on a tasting board of Iberian cured meats and local cheeses from different regions of Spain, always alongside a good Catalan's best friend: pa amb tomàquet. Once both paellas are ready, everyone sits down together to taste both versions and decide with the chef which team takes the win.
