As a first stop in Siena , travelers will be able to admire Piazza del Campo , a square surrounded by the Torre del Mangia , the Palazzo Pubblico and medieval palaces . This square is important not only for its beauty but also because the Palio di Siena is held here, a competition between the current seventeen Contrade of Siena in the form of an equestrian tournament of medieval origin. In this stage, if the customers wish, the driver will accompany them staying with them to assist them. Entrance tickets to these monuments are not included.
The Duomo of Siena is one of the most prestigious and richest European cathedrals founded in the XII century. Travelers beyond the cathedral will be able to admire the Dome and its Bell Tower. A dome unique in its architecture where there are golden statues of saints and 42 columns with the figures of patriarchs and prophets. The bell tower makes the cathedral in its perfect medieval look. The cost of the ticket is not included in the tour.
Travelers will stroll through the streets of the center where they will be able to admire the characteristic medieval streets with churches and palaces, go shopping and then choose a typical Tuscan restaurant, eat typical dishes and drink the best wines in the world. Lunch is not included in the tour price.
In San Gemignano the tour will last 2 hours. You can admire one of the highest towers that characterize this city, the Cugnanesi tower, surrounded by other lower towers that represent this medieval city.
Travelers will be able to admire this splendid church built in the 12th century, built on top of an already existing church with its bell tower where centuries ago it was also a house.
Travelers will be able to admire this small square where there is a medieval cistern. Since the Middle Ages the square has been the seat of the market.
